Would you use this? SeeLink - A link sharing and collaboration platform

Hello Indie Hackers!

I'm proud to introduce a web-app I've been working on for the past few months, SeeLink.

I just wanted to get the opinions of fellow indie hackers, and whether you think you would actually use something like this, say, to share important links with your teams or just save links for yourself. I'm not sure if this violates any of the community rules, so please let me know if it does :).

Here's a bit about SeeLink. You can try it out, at https://seelink.app.

SeeLink is a link sharing and collaboration platform that enables you to save and share links from all around the web.

What's SeeLink For?

SeeLink is one of the first link sharing and collaboration platforms. SeeLink enables its users to store, share, and save links from all around the web. You could use SeeLink to store links of your interest, and share them with friends, family, or teammates.

Why was SeeLink created?

SeeLink was created to simplify sharing links with friends and family. Conventionally, sharing links with people was done through messaging apps, where they would get lost in the sea of messages. SeeLink allows its users to create boards to share links with specific people, allowing them to save and share human-readable links at the click of a button.

There's still a lot that I'd like to improve in SeeLink, and if there's anything you'd like to see added to that list, please let me know! Also, I'm looking to get some user feedback before I launch to more people, so all feedback is welcome!

Thanks.

Before I comment on the idea itself, @R_, I want to talk about the design itself.
Although your idea seems pretty good, the landing page has too bright colors and a lot of information tightly packed. I think you should work on it as soon as possible because it plays a huge role in converting users.

With that being said, I would say that the idea looks unique but might have to actually try it out to see how much value it actually delivers, on a daily basis.

Thanks a ton for the feedback! I think toning down the red a bit would be much better for the landing page 😅. Is there anything else you'd suggest I do, perhaps to make the information more spaced out? Also, it would be great if you could try the app and help me understand what value it delivers. Thanks a lot!

Yeah surely, I think the text could be improvised visually. I'll definitely give that a try!

    I like the idea!

It's a common problem with links, and it gets annoying to go back 4 months worth of daily messages to find that one link you sent. But messaging apps such as WhatsApp have the links tab where you can find all the links that you shared with one of your contacts.

Your landing page is good, you could do with less harsh colors on the eyes though. Also, I would like to see the app before signing up. Also, there's a lot of text and you do not direct me towards what's important, people don't read much on the internet.

I'm working on a URL related project myself, https://bkmark.io

Thank you very much for the feedback! Agreed, I will have to reduce the intensity of the colors on the landing page. How do you think I could make the landing page tell people more about the app? Maybe a see it in action video? Will have to see how I can highlight the important parts better. Also, it would be great if you could sign up for the app, and would help me understand how to make the user flow better. Like the idea for bkmark by the way, I can see the need to keep your bookmarks organised, especially after how most browsers handle them.
