YouTube Update

Last Thursday I passed the 1,000 Views mark for my YouTube channel on
"the business of Programming". On that day I also reached 28.8 watch hours and 24 subscribers. That is still very small, but I only started the channel on February 27th so I think the growth for 6 weeks is on-track.

On April 15th I outlined goals for:

  • How many videos to publish (regular and shorts)
  • Subscribers
  • Views
  • Watch Hours

I set the goals for the 1st and 16th of each month through September 1st. By April 22nd I had already exceeded my goals for May 1st.

Although YouTube won't be my only means of marketing, I do think it will be an ideal location for me to post value-rich content which will attract the right kind of viewers to later purchase my Wizards Toolkit.

There are so many good platforms and tools for promoting business now! There just is not enough time in the day to properly follow-up on all of them.

The Wizards Toolkit will not be ready for beta testing until June. Currently I am in the phase of finding my marketing platforms and building a respected presence there. The Wizards Toolkit is a low-code development library based on PHP, SQL, Javascript and MaterializeCSS. The target market is:

  • PHP developers
  • SQL developers
  • business owners about to launch a new tech project

If anyone has recommendations for marketing and exposure, please let me know.

Thanks!
