I wonder if anyone has built a desktop app that acts as a proxy for your webcam and allows you to green-screen like Zoom, but for other video chatting apps. Lots of people I know don't use Zoom (or can't because of company policies) but would love the ability to use different backgrounds. There's a version of this idea that cancels out background noise (Krisp, for instance) that appears as a new mic option. Someone could make a version that shows up as a new camera option and streams your actual webcam through a green screen.
I don't really use Zoom and frankly haven't had the time to spend exploring what backgrounds I could use. The coronavirus situation has been a real boost for Zoom, but seeing things like the above must be a huge brand raising awareness accomplishment for them too.
This is a pretty good one!

We've just published some funny backgrounds for our users today at: https://bit.ly/3aPSQYd

Anyone know any backstories to this?
