I want to create the fun, friendly guide to web accessibility for self-taught web developers that I never had.

Hit 73 subscribers on my email list.

1 month after launching the email course and syndicating one article to freeCodeCamp and one to DailyJS, my email list grew from 7 people to over 70.

I created the course lessons while people were taking it, and the first students are finishing today. (I finished writing the course yesterday).

Now to continue to promote the course with syndicated content.

I also launched a dedicated landing page for the course: https://benrobertson.io/courses/common-accessibility-mistakes/

Launched free email course.

Launched an email course on common accessibility mistakes and how to avoid them based on a conference presentation I gave in July.

I have had some success generating interest by syndicating content to dev.to, DailyJS, and freeCodeCamp

Got my first response from an email subscriber.

I have a little welcome message when people sign up for my list that asks "what's the hardest thing about web accessibility?" and I had a nice conversation with a subscriber who wanted advice and really valued my opinion. Super encouraging!

Soft launch of book landing page

I redesigned my personal site and put up the initial landing page for the book:

https://benrobertson.io/accessibility-for-web-developers/

I did literally no promotion but it felt good to have the page live.

I also added a email sign up underneath my accessibility focused blog posts.
