Alfa Data was born out of my need to collect and visualize football (soccer) statistics in one place. Alfa Data is powered by a Machine Learning model and it offers bet suggestions for free to subscribers.
Alfa Data has been sold and I am moving to a new challenge.
The new owners renamed it Underdog Analytica and the mission will be the same, making Soccer Betting more affordable and scientific with Machine Learning algorithms.
I am very happy with the deal I got and the new team is energetic and very much aligned with the original mission of Alfa Data.
The book I wrote in May/June just crossed 500$ in sales.
I put the book on Gumroad first as this was the easiest and cheapest way to share my work with the rest of the world. It had some success and I decided to explore other distribution channels. I read good things about Amazon KDP so I gave it a try and published the book on Amazona as ebook and Paperback on 11 August.

I was not even monitoring how the sales were going until 2 days ago when I got a surprising email from Amazon saying that some funds were on their way. Hurrah!
In the end I managed to sell enough copies to cross the symbolic 500$ mark and more importantly reached people from all over Europe, US, UK, Brazil and Mexico!
I launched the book Code a Betting Model in a weekend on Gumroad!
The book was in pre-sale already and in total I collected 121$ in sales on launch day!
I tried to share all I learned building a predictive betting model in these 3 years since I started Alfa Data. I hope this book can help other football betting enthusiasts like me to use data in a creative and interesting way to discover opportunities in the betting market, be more successful and have more fun betting.

With the latest book sale I reached 500 USD revenue 💰
I started from scratch (no contacts, no mailing list, no ads) and it took me almost 2 years 👴
