I aim to close the gap between "WordPress Hosting" and what the average small business actually needs. I feel the best way to do that is to slap a web developer, such as myself, in between the web host and the customer.
I officially begun work on CaptainCore my open source toolkit for managing WordPress sites. This was really a chance for me to take all of the custom scripts I've written and organize everything into a single usable project. CaptainCore is truly how I run my business so it feels really good to be able to publish it freely to the world.
As a challenge to myself I committed to a weekly blog post documenting my WordPress business. It's a technical look at anything I'm currently working on or learning. Was never intended to be a "proper educational" resource but rather my own personal journal.
I big shoutout to Sean McCabe of seanwes. I only took writing seriously after hearing him say over and over again "It all starts with writing".
I announced the new name, took down my development website and launched the new website focused on managed WordPress hosting.
