Creative ads added to site to explore monetisation


Jamie and I had discussed for a while how we might include ads on Archetype as a means of monetising it somehow or as a way of promoting some of our other products since we get a solid 2-3K users per month. We were inspired by the use of Larry the salesman in the mobile game Yeti Mountain which Jamie had come across a couple of years ago. We wanted to create something funny and delightful that might make the ads more memorable than a standard boring banner. We even began thinking that this could turn into a separate product one day...
