open sourced on Github

Launched a first version.
The repository is a Jekyll application you can install to edit separated CSS and JS files, and to generate a new version.
It can be used as a styleguide or a reference of HTML snippets to copy. The website is directly hosted on Github Pages: https://ariato.org

The CSS is separated in 3 folders:

  • design tokens includes css variables that set design constraints. It covers color (including a dark mode), spacing, typography, shadows, ...
  • elements target classless HTML tags.
  • components too extend styles to common UI elements like accordion or tabs. It uses wai-aria practices whenever possible.

The vanilla JS powers some of the components, including keyboard navigation.
