I went asleep 😴 for a long time. Freelancing gigs stopped me from shipping... but now I'm back!
Already updated the website. Goal right now is to improve checkout flow, do some manual DMing on Twitter, and plan a PH launch afterwards.
Also thinking of new pricing model and how to make my product more unique!
Just compiled the numbers for the Landing Audit Black Friday deal.
Here are all the metrics, shared publicly.
💸 Gross Revenue: €114.86 (2 sales)
👋 Unique Visitors (UV) to Website: 52
📣 Top Channels for Acquisition: Twitter, LinkedIn, Slack Communities.
📱 Top Devices: Mobile (44%), Desktop (35%)
🗺️ Top Countries: Portugal (38%), USA (23%)
🛒 Conversion Rate for Begin Checkout: 7.7%
🐖 Conversion Rate for Transaction: 4%
Both sales came from the USA. One from a Slack Community (Indie Worldwide), another from my Twitter.
My conclusions:
➡️ The offer was aggressive, a 40% discount. Proves there's a market for this.
➡️ By reducing friction (lower price) and increasing pressure (limited-time offer) I got the sales. If I want to have non-discount sales in the future I must increase the perception of value. Conversion = Value - Friction.
➡️ Or the other strategy could be a permanent state of sales, and finding a regular channel to bring me traffic (Content? Communities? Paid Media?). But for this I would probably have to increase the price.
And that's it! What are your thoughts on this? :)

Yay! I published content for 10 days straight (well, weekdays haha). Doesn't seem like a lot, but it's progress. Already got learnings from it, and now I'm better aware of the content that performs well on Twitter and LinkedIn on my personal account.
Onwards to 100 days!
I need to focus on Marketing. Barely getting any traffic, which means I don't get sales!
Still haven't managed to get a sale since launch. I know this is obviously not an easy process. I did publish a mega public-audit of Bannerbear on Twitter and LinkedIn, but got little traction.
Still divided on the quality VS quantity argument, but leaning towards quality. I think it makes more sense!
Will try to launch on some platforms too.
I've just launched LandingAudit on my social media. I have a decent following on LinkedIn (~3.000 followers) so I expect some traffic coming that way.
Ideally I get 1 customer from this. Either way, I'm expecting valuable feedback that helps me improve the service - both qualitative and quantitative.
I was building the old website on Carrd and it limited my options somewhat. Switched to Unicorn Platform (shoutout, they're the best!) and now it looks much better.
Launching on my social media (+3.000 followers on LinkedIn) next Wednesday so I want to make a good first impression!
With the feedback I get from this I can iterate to launch better on PH, reddit, etc

YES! After almost 2 years Indie Hacking, I've finally made money on the internet. And damn, does it feel good!
Got my first client from a warm lead. While it was easier than converting a cold lead, it proves that this product works. If you can make 1$, you can make MORE $$$!
Time to refine and find ways to distribute & grow!
Here's why:
Note to self: stop iterating, start selling!
