Implemented passwordless registration!

Some people have commented that they want to see the product before committing to it. This makes sense and a demo environment would be the first option, however, setting up a demo environment for Astogi is a tough one. Therefore we opted to go for a registration flow where the user doesn't need to input a password anymore when registering. A single e-mail is enough to start using the service, after that the user can change their password via the panel or use the 'forgot password' functionality.

I considered using a single name, but at that point, it would be easy for the user to lose their account. They would have to change their email before they log out/close the browser. If they don't, and their email isn't filled in, there is no way to send a password reset email.

So I do get your reasoning, but I expect this to be a more significant issue then it might solve.
