After getting 100's of signups we have our first batch of freelancers vetted and ready to join the Autolance platform. We are gathering additional details with our first hiring clients to provide these clients with work.
We also are waiting on the official confirmation but we are joining Microsoft For Startups which is exciting.
After 2-3 months of developing we finished the MVP and are ready to take on Alpha clients to work closely with. We also began the vetting process for the 100's of freelancers that had signed up before launch.
We plan on working very closely with alpha clients until we are confident enough with the product.
After ranting about experiences of hiring freelancers at Duct and freelancing myself, I posted on IndieHackers and Reddit with overwhelming support for the idea. Due to this support, my business partner and I decided to pivot Duct into a more focused company and rebrand into Autolance.
We took pre-built machine learning algorithms we had built for Duct and revamped them for freelancing. Autolance was born.
