Product Hunt launch - 25 sales

Andy Dao @speedpoint

Hi all!
It's been about a week since I've launched on productHunt and I'm super happy with the results. Here are a couple of stats:

  1. Number of unique visitors: ~7000
  2. Number of sales: 25
  3. Revenue $486.75 - 10% (gumroad cut) = $438
  4. 646 upvotes - Rank 5 on PH -

Things I've learnt:

  • Price makes a huge impact on the amount of sales you get. If it's too expensive people won't buy.
  • Know who your target audience is. This is super important with how you structure the content on your landing page. Additionally your landing page is the bread and butter for sales
  • Don't get friends and family to upvote too fast, your listing will get marked as spam

Whats next:

  • I plan to make another illustration pack but with a super exciting theme: it's a secret at the moment but I'm super excited to be working on it
  • Continue to advertise the pack

if you have any questions guys, let me know, I'm more than happy to answer.
