2nd restaurant signed up!

Today I went and visited 5 more restaurants, a few of them I was visiting for the 2nd time. To start with our pilot phase we want only 3 to 5 restaurants. So it's better to know that the ones we are actually talking to really Don't want before going to search and convince new ones.

I have to say it's fairly simple to sign them up because we are giving away 2 months of free trial with 10 or 20 bowls per restaurant/day, however we are telling them that after that period we will jump to a 100€/month subscription. They look pretty okay with that if we can make sure they use the 50 bowls/day we say we will provide. We are also thinking on scaling our first clients little by little, but this will depen on the users response. If people start signing up in loads then we will need to scale sooner.

Step by Step!

Nice to see the approach of just getting out there and speaking to them. Obviously, it seems to suit the business model!

Yep, for our business model and type of service is crucial to get out there and talk directly to the potential clients. It's a totally new service, no competition in our country, so if I send an email and explain them they don't get it. We are also selling a service tied to physical product, the bowl, so when they can see and touch them, they kind of decide if they like it and want to be part.
