Came up with the idea

Alex Spezowka @Alex_BlackMagic

After researching for months which Business Chequing account would best suit our needs for our main hustle - a web development firm, we went with NBC. However, after all the papers were signed, we were shocked with how low-tech their supposed "E-Account" was.

But it was too late. We were signed into a two year term.

This is when we started researching more thoroughly, compiling a spreadsheet of every business chequing account in Canada that we could find - when it was time to switch, we weren't going to make the same mistakes.

Eventually, we had an extensive list of options, but the spreadsheet was getting a little unwieldy. A simple UI was built on an Elasticsearch database, and Bank Hunt was born.

Fun fact! Internally, for the first four months, we called it "Bank Comparison App." The name came much, much later.
