Latest trending topics from the internet in a newsletter
Keeping up with everything trending on soo many websites on the internet can be tough. I'm personally someone that enjoys reading just the briefs about what's going on. This is the perfect tool to achieve just that.
This time I decided to show some patience and not launch the 2nd day after the website was live. I waited, collected feedback, made improvements and then decided on today as the launch day.
However, as fate would have it, I lost internet connectivity and couldn't be active to promote/share it everywhere. Already missed out on the opportunity I guess.

Was a difficult decision to make.
2 main reasons behind this:
Prevent overuse of service: had almost already started with few users having more than 5-10 emails / day. It's somewhat part of the fun of the customization possibilities available so it is something I expected, but the costs to keep up with that at scale, can be a lot.
Cover costs: mostly hosting, email & analytics. BeeTrendyhttps://beetrendydaily.com) isn't the only side project and keeping it free was a fun test but I guess I know what to expect now. It's a pivot that was necessary, just didn't think I would be doing it so quick.
The free tier limits users to creating 1 newsletter, with all other customizations possible as per their liking (time, day, sources)
The paid tier, SuperBee, costs $5/month and has no limits at all.
Can only wait and see how this goes. What do you think about it?

I know it's a small milestone, but I'm still pretty excited!
I haven't put too much effort into marketing it yet, shared it a few times on Reddit and shared a couple of updates here - but that's about it.

Live trends from all our sources (Google, YouTube, Twitter, Spotify, IMDb, Reddit, HN) are now available to see directly on the website without having to sign up for the newsletter.
I thought about it for a while. Might cause fewer sign ups if they can just see everything on the page, but then really did want to make everything available easily too, so went ahead and did it anyways 馃榿

Quite a few updates made to BeeTrendy already - and the best part? It all came from user requests! This means people are using it 馃榿
Here is a brief about what's new:
Quite a bit more small UI/UX changes throughout, but nothing worth mentioning as such.
On to the next set of improvements 馃殌
Sort of. What's currently live is more than an MVP - it's prime time ready.
I'm just a bit more nervous than usual with this one. I don't want to misstep any execution steps so feeling a little hesitant in promoting it with full force.
