How does it work with AppSumo? How do they get paid? How do you determine your price to list on AppSumo?

I get paid by direct deposit each month. 2 months after close of sale of the month.
AppSumo gets paid by credit card or whatever their payment system is.
I was given the ability to determine my pricing. I relied on their experience to suggest a price: $19. and I accepted that.
