January Revenue Review

While the sheets for sale have always been meant to be promotional and testing grounds for Better Sheets itself. It now makes up 11% of revenue.

  • Should it be more percentage? "who knows?"
  • Should new sheets for sale drive Memberships? "I think so"

I don't think these sheets drive memberships very well, yet.

This might be because I've done a terrible job of creating any flow from marketing of sheets to the better sheets memberships sales. I think this has to do with pricing.

  • What's a better price? "Charge More"
  • Should I have different pricing options? "Yes"

Originally I priced Better Sheets at an absolutely affordable level. It was intentional to have insane value. $19 and I'll never charge you again.

Better Sheets was launched at the height of pandemic fear. With the world wrapped in uncertainty, I wanted the pricing to be absolutely certain.

I think I'll continue that. Even as the price goes up and I add more options, A Lifetime Deal will be available.

I'll be raising the price soon on AppSumo to $49. and adding in a $19 per month option.

A new member now has a huge amount to work with. Over 150 videos. New videos are getting more and more in depth about coding as well as sheets themselves are more mature and useful.

Raising the price of better sheets will allow me more resources to make the site better for existing members and even think about expanding the team to a content creator or a community manager to keep members posted about what's available and what's new. I'm finding myself falling behind in this regard while I try to build more original sheets.
