10K installs!

We just hit 10K installs in 1 month, obviously thanks to the Instagram ads! It's amazing to have so much installs every day, I can feel an excitement with numbers!!

We also generated 800$ in revenue, which is not bad for a first month!

I'm exciting to see what's going to happen in the next weeks :)

How much did you spend on IG ads?

    1. 1

Hey @Coderforlife22, we spent about 400€ / month, which represented a CPR of 0.04$ / install.

We did some AB tests with 5€ / day before finding our winner ad :)

For example, we tried 2 different videos for a few days, and the result was obvious as you can see :) https://ibb.co/LdPwphy

Nice! What you mind sharing screenshots of the ads? It would be nice to compare the two

          Sure!

It works now. Wow. That's super interesting that the last one had the best conversion rate. I guess I can see how it does build curiosity and leaving you wanting to know more. Any thoughts or reflections on why you think the last one did the best?

I targeted pretty much the same kind of persons, interests and localizations, but with just a few differences so I think it helped a bit but I'm definitely sure that:

              • the first one was too quick, with a lot of informations and was too 'shiny', too much work actually!

              • the second one was the opposite, just straight to the point, simple enough for everyone, but not very funny

              • the last one, you can identified yourself (for my targeted audience), you just want to smile when you look at the man and it does not seem like a commercial ad!

Gotcha. Very nice. I'm a game developer myself using unity but sort of lost a lot of motivation for developing games given how the mobile game space is these days. But I find myself itching to build something again. Seeing this makes me hopeful. Do you think you'll keep building mobile games?

                1. 1

Why did you lost your motivation? You don't care if the mobile game space is crowdy :) Do what you enjoy doing! Biiim was just a fun side project, and we tried to find out if it could be liked by other people, and it did, but that wasn't the first attention!
Maybe you need to do it just for you at beginning, and you will think how to monetize it later?

Hm. Facebook won't let me view the ads. You may have to screenshot and share via a img sharing site. Facebook message: "Sorry, you don't have access to the page that the shared ad promotes for."

Oops, I just changed the URLs, please tell me if it's okay for you now :)
