Finally decided on Meteor for the backend. Commissioned a designer, got to work.
Validated idea
Confirmed that it's not just me who has this problem. Got survey responses from ~50 wedding florists in Australia - over 60% are using spreadsheets + pen & paper to manage the admin for huge weddings. Almost zero are using software.
Chose a name
Got my act together, nailed down a name.
Registered domain.
Did nothing for ages.
