Reached $15,000+ in total profit

to increase the base of annual subscribers, I made a promotion and sold annual subscriptions for only $9/year
It brought another +$500 / year.

Not bad, but I still can't find a good growth driver :(

Can anyone have any kickass ideas here?

I will be happy with any of your ideas, please, if you have one or more, share in the comments!

I am considering several options:

  • freemium
  • trial
  • low cost monthly / annual subscription

    Here’s my 2 cents.

    • I think your marketing is heavily product focused. Which is not too bad, as your product looks great and serves a need. Though it doesn’t select for a specific type of customer.
    • Market to a specific business niche. You could charge more and build a regular customer base.
    • my advice would be to sell to agencies directly. Charge a monthly fee +200$ for full access. And unlimited business support etc...
    • build a list of agencies and just start reaching out to them
    • offer a set of free options like 15 widgets
      • or limit the amount if widgets per page to show values
      • or limit amount if free downloads per month.
    • charge for full access.
    • something like 200 dollars is nothing per month
    • If it helps to save a solid amount of time for a small to midsize agency

Ok sorry for the brain dump, just a smattering of thoughts, from someone that ran 2 small agencies, 3 -8 people Over the years.

Also go read traction and use some capital to test some marketing channels toward the specific customer of your choosing.

Well... I wouldn't recommend this book. Nothing new or helpful (my humble subjective opinion). Just listed 19 ways to market products.
Bootstraptor, I think you're actually doing a great job. Probably you just need to raise your prices :)

Honestly your pretty correct about the no new information peice for that book. Though I think the method it’s teaches is helpful from a new founders perspective. For many (especially developer founders) marketing can be scary and hard so having some tools to help on that journey are super helpful.

    Great job.
I looked at the website from the profile. I wonder what kind of conversion visitors - downloads? It seems to me that it is necessary to make the button "Download" more visible. For the first time I didn't find it.
Maybe it is necessary to improve the site - to make the menu at the top, with sections and so on? Just as an idea...

Hey @MaxFadeev thanks for the reply!
you are right that only 30 out of 100 visitors download demos

I will try to follow your advice and see what happened
