Every website builder I have tried was broken in every possible way. I'm trying to build a better one.
A great milestone crossed again! 3000 websites on Boomla, mostly created without code, all free. In the future, everyone will have their own free website. As often said, the future is already here, it's just not evenly distributed. ;)
I'm starting to see signs of organic growth as well. Super exciting! :)
It really feels like the hardest part of the journey may be over. Boomla is finally getting lots of positive feedback and some passionate fans.
I've definitely spent way too much time on getting the basics right but it is starting to pay off. Adding new features and rolling them out to existing websites is a breeze.
Users message me out of the blue that Boomla blows away everything else they have tried. Gotta admit it totally makes my day every single time. :)
Now the focus will shift towards optimizing on-boarding & retention. That's sure a thing I both love & hate: continuously changing job titles. And you start as a newbies at every one of them.
In the end it's always a good problem to have, for sure I'm looking forward it! :)
We call it jokingly the Mountain Viable Product because it took 14 years. I wanted to build a platform that I enjoy using, so it took a while. But hey, we are here! :P
I did have a few users for many years and I was testing with random strangers I caught on the street (which turned out to be lots of fun), so at least I wasn't completely in the dark.
I hope to get more feedback & users soon.
