End of Week #8

I got my head out of the weeds and did no coding on the MVP for most of the week. Instead, I did something I've been avoiding - I took a look at my competitors and tried their products. Boy, was that an interesting experience.
Two competing products are free chrome extensions that do not currently work. The oldest one with 16K users has been discontinued by the developer. The newer one with 1K users stopped working in January, judging by the comments. I know the underlying reason - they are web-scraping from a site that changes it structure once or twice a year. The maintenance effort for a free app may be too much.
So I picked up my pen (metaphorically) and wrote a blog post review for each, of course mentioning my working product at the end of the post with a CTA.
I paid a $5 monthly subscription to my only significant competitor left in this space and road-tested their product. I will blog a review this week. I like what they provide, but my MVP simply provides more functionality. I'll be fulsome in praise in my review in what they do well, but simply list the extras that I do.
Those 16K + 1K users who installed these apps are on my mind - is there a way to find them!
