Recently, I made it possible for businesses to add their plant links to our plant guides by a fixed amount of money per month.
The idea is to have many links to buy a plant on each plant guide, where each link indicates where does that shop ships packages and the size of the plant.
I added structured data for better SEO in the plant page (only visible if you check the source code).
Structured data allows google to understand better the content you're showing to the user. This is important because the better structured is the page, the more chance to appear in featured widgets and so on.
I just improved 1% the #SEO π trend of chooseyourplant.com
by adding a hreflang
link to the website π¨βπ».
π§βπ« hreflang
tells Google the lang you are using, so the search engine can serve that page to users searching in that language.
π¬ In my honest opinion, even though the hreflang
doesn't improve the ranking directly, it can improve the conversion and reduce the bounce rate, which affects the ranking π.
β So, be mindful and add this quick win to your website
#MondayPlantStory π±π€.
Every Monday people who love #houseplants share their story behind how they started growing them. I like to ask about what motivated them to start growing #plants what problems they had, and more ποΈ!
New story π:

________________________
Karolina and she is from Poland, and like most of us, she can't keep a fern alive because of the humidity problems π¨ π.
She has a couple of cats πΊ, and loves to spend the weekends with them and her plants π±! Her nickname βkociokwiatkiβ is a combination of these two words - βcatsβ and βplantsβ
Karolinaβs is been interested in plants for 3 years ποΈ. Like everyone, she started with 2 of them (because weβre usually scared). She saw the plants were doing fine, so she started buying more, and more, and more πβ¦ And now she has 75 plants already π±!
Her favorite plant is #AlocasiaBlackVelvet also known as Alocasia Reginula Black Velvet. Alocasias usually require high humidity but this one does fine in average room humidity.
When it comes to a morning routine, she says:
βI start with watering π¦ and fertilizing π©βπ¬ if the season requires it. I also try to thoroughly clean the leaves of dust. With so many plants, it really takes a lot of time but it's very relaxing for me. πββοΈ"
βI also check the leaves then - looking for any signs of disease or parasites π. If there arenβt any I breathe a sigh of relief and if there are... then the fight begins! Unfortunately, I am currently facing a scourge of thrips and spider mites, it's very frustrating when you look at dying plants, but you can't give up πͺ!β

Know a little about this gorgeous ficus that has giant leaves
.
Ficus Lyrata commonly known as Fiddle Leaf Fig is a ficus that has become very popular in recent years thanks to how elegant and beautiful it is, the large size of its leaves, and how easy it is to take care of it.
The Ficus Lyrata is a tree native to West Africa that grows in the rain forest and, like all plants, will increase in size as we give it more room to grow, reaching up to 10 meters. Its leaves are a uniform green color, soft, and can measure up to 8 inches.
If you have pets or small children be careful because it is toxic when ingested. That does not mean that you cannot have it, but it does mean that you must exercise extreme caution or attention.

Epipremnum Aureum Neon is a variety of pothos well known for its distinctive lime color. It is an easy plant recommended for beginners because it thrives in low light conditions and does not require much maintenance, although its growth is slowed down.
All pothos are purifying plants so they are especially recommended for offices, bathrooms, and bedrooms.
