I launched this newsletter as a fun experiment and wasn't sure how long am I going to run it for.

But looks like now I need to run it at least for a year :)

We've hit $600 ARR so I should be able to sell it for $6K+ on MicroAcquire 😛

This is probably my second digital product with a real MRR and I have no plans of selling it right now.

We're working on some cool stuff behind the scene and enjoying the journey.

$600 ARR done, Back to work now.

I was checking my email to see how many new subscribers I have gained today and saw this...

New paid subscription for Chrome Extension Ideas!

That was the subject line of an email from substack.

I double-checked everything to make sure that I am reading it correctly.

And everything checked out, I have actually found someone who believed enough in CEI to spend $10/month.

I emailed him and found him on Twitter and DM'd him there.

I told him that I will need his feedback to improve CEI and find 999 more people like him.

And He is happy to help.

While I have made money for a long time, this is special.

This is my first ever dollar with a newsletter and brought back that fire I had as a kid.

If you haven't found your first paying customer, hang in there.

He is right around the corner.

And for me, the next step is to find 9 more people like him.

More than 200 people are reading Chrome Extension Ideas now.

When I started this newsletter, I didn't expect to hit this goal so soon.

In the first 3 weeks, I had 18 subscribers then something happened and I crossed the 200 marks magically.

I will be sharing that in a different post.

This number has shown me that people want what I'm working on.

But I'm not expecting to grow so fast as we have quite a niche product and I'm not really promoting it.

Having said that, I Hope to cross the 300 mark soon.

Oh! Another "Ideas Newsletter". Don't we have enough of that already?

This one is a little different because we will be sharing market-sourced ideas. Allow me to explain:

I met a few developer friends of mine and was trying to motivate them to create something of their own.

And they told me that they can build products but don't know how to market them.

And I realized that a lot of indie ideas fail too because of a lack of marketing.

No, I'm not going to teach you marketing here.

I'm going to do something a little better. I'm going to share chrome extension ideas sourced from the market.

Sourced from the market means, I will be spending time on platforms like Twitter and Reddit, etc., and will share with you what the market is asking for.

Wouldn't that be great if you know what the market wants? You just build it and give it to them.

And Chrome Extensions are relatively easier to build so you can work on quite a few ideas.

I don't know about you but I love working on a few ideas at once. This newsletter is also a new idea I'm adding to the mix.

We will have a free version and a paid version. My personal goal is to make the free version so valuable that people end up signing up for the paid version.

It would be wild if this hits $10K MRR. Well, A man can wish :)

This is my first newsletter and I'm planning to share my wins and losses here. Hopefully, we will all get to learn something out of it.
