First 2 sign-ups!

One week after I finished my website, I just had my 2 first sign-ups! I focused my whole Monday on promoting and talking about my product in different places (website and forums) so I guess it worked.

However, it doesn't mean that these 2 people will use my product. I have to talk to them and see if they match my criteria (in fact, you can use my product only if you have a certain amount of customers and if you collect data about them).

Plus, my product isn't fully finished so I sent them emails to see if they are interested in becoming early users (I offer them lifetime discounts if they accept).

So now, I just hope they will use my product! Wish me luck :)

    @Goldriver This looks cool and clear. Perhaps some specific number examples for "This number can vary from one business to another so feel free to contact us to know more about our criteria!" would make it clearer.

      That would be a good idea but I don't want to put a certain number and discourage people from contacting me.
      I guess I can put the strict minimum of customers they should have, which is around 50!

        You can do this subtly, without mentioning it on the website. If you can think of some lead magnet that can be created without significant efforts and something that specifically creates value for SaaS businesses with 50 - 100 customers, you can run a campaign to get sign-ups with the lead magnet. eg. "The Definitive Guide for SaaS founders to grow from 50+ customers to 1000+ customers in XXX days."

            Cool. And it need not be just the idea of an eBook. Because creating content for an ebook does take some effort. But there could be some easy to launch yet effective lead magnet idea that you can think about. For example, we created a quiz as a lead magnet for this project - https://beta-outdoor.com/find-your-beta-tester-score and we got 60 + sign ups in 10 days with most of the profiles matching with the kind of people we were looking for.
