The actionable knowledge base for teams
Our mission is to bring forth the era of Collective Computing so that humanity can better respond to complex and important challenges through distributed cooperation.
Last week we grew 61% and this week another 17%, which pushed us over 100 sign-ups. At this point, many of our users are people our team does not know, which is a milestone in itself. We’re now working to activate and retain these users, and eventually convert them to paid plans.
We've been working on Clarity.so for quite a while. So far, we've had a small group of testers with whom we've been very high touch. In that time we've had a few hundred people sign-up for our waitlist, and now we've started inviting those people into the Beta Program too.
We invited 20 folks to join our private beta, and they've now invited 30 additional people to use the product with them. We have a few teams using it and a few solo professional users as well. This organic spread is a bit of validation for our growth hypothesis.
We had our first team sign up for a paid subscription. Their membership represents $1,000 in ARR. Today, we received their first payment. They were early believers in the product and have provided valuable feedback for improving it over the last few months.
After a successful demo call, the founder of a paid community decided to move his entire internal knowledge base and task management from Notion to Clarity. Even though we don't have the depth of features that Notion provides, the new format that we introduce enables them to work in a way they cannot work anywhere else. The founder is extremely excited and their Base is already rivaling our own.
After a big development push over the last three weeks, we shipped v0.1 of the product. The app is feeling pretty good and we're comfortable bringing in some real users. We've already setup onboarding calls for this week and are hoping to see these users on the product regularly.
After aggressively saving for three years by contracting as a designer, developer, and product manager, I have secured enough runway to go heads down on Clarity without any distractions. I am now fully focused on bringing this project to life and making it self-sustaining.
We have a solid build up and running with the foundation of the application. The unique data structure we've invented is in place and we're now working on polishing the user experience to feel like a typical document app. First alpha testers are onboarded and using the product.
I've been no-code prototyping this solution using Google Docs and project management tools for two years.
My latest iterations of the system have been performing well with my clients. I now feel I have enough conviction around the design to increase bandwidth on putting down code.
Building it by myself will be too slow, and I don't want to miss the window of opportunity for launching this product.
I'm excited to work with an incredible developer that I've already been working with for over a year on a mutual client project.
