Things have been slow as of late, I have gotten distracted by another project.
But, the project has grown regardless! Which is awesome. August/September will be huge months for growth.
Big feature update today! I used Shopify's Draggable library to implement an awesome feature that's never been seen on the Poshmark platform.
I wrote about the feature here: https://closet.tools/organize-poshmark-inventory.html
It's so awesome, that I think I will have to rethink my pricing strategy. It's a really valuable tool. Current users will be grandfathered in, and I think I will run a scarcity tactic funnel to get people to subscribe at the current price before the price goes up.
Bumped up the version to 0.1.5 over at the Assistant Page. Once I add in credit card updating, and re-framing the free-trial to be 2 weeks (and not auto-charge), I will bump the version to 2.0 and cap the features there for now.
Then, I will focus solely on marketing and content. Gotta make this thing grow big! Oh, and I plan on making a little free-tool as a growth hack. More on that soon. I think it's going to be awesome.
Updated the landing page and website to match the colors of the logo. The app has been updated as well. A much more clean and unified design.
This always worked, but I figured out how to do it and shared a blog post for my users.
Pretty sweet feeling knowing someone likes your product enough to keep paying. I have been worried about churn, but it seems like things are going to go well!
I used Shapefactory's logo builder.
Crazy to think that it's making this much despite only launching to a Reddit post and a 100 person email list.
So, automation on Poshmark is definitely a gray area. I open up in this post as to why I made the tool and why I think it is perfectly reasonable to use it.
I got my first sale! I actually don't even know where it came from since I hadn't posted the finished product on Reddit or promoted it to my email list for beta testers.
Either way, an amazing feeling to get money for something you made from scratch!
Sharing on Poshmark takes a lot of time while being essential to making more sales. With the Closet Assistant, users can make more sales and spend less time sharing their items by using automation.
