This is a true story

After quitting from employment, we made several useful in-house start-ups. For more than four years we have been working on clients projects as an agency.

Each time we were delving deep into the client's problems and each time we have been solving them on the highest level. Observing all new successful clients launching we also acquired a desire to make something of our own. So we decided to make code.market. Our dream was to make something like amazon with digital products, the main market place where you can easily buy any digital product: code, assets, neural network templates, complex integration solutions etc. As soon as smart microwaves have their own apps, you will find them on code.market.

Before the launch we broke all possible start-up rules. We didn't do Customer Development research, we did not create a business plan, we didn't count unit economy as well as we didn't count CAGS etc. We simply made a platform that we had in mind as developers. We wanted to make a big international E commerce project, that will help studios, developers and small businesses launch their web projects on operating systems much faster and cheaper.

Actually, we followed one start-up rule: “Find product market fit”. That is why we started with mobile apps templates. Now the mobile apps template market is in its infancy. I know, you might say, what is the reason to make a start-up for the market that almost does not exist. If there is no market now - that doesn't mean it won't exist in the future. There is no market, but there is a common way to make mobile apps. Searching for designers, searching for iOS and Android developers, we all know how it is done. We figured that there is now an opportunity to make mobile apps in a new way. Today we have frameworks for cross platform development such as Flutter, React Native, Ionic. It is an opportunity to make a template just once and solve a problem for thousands of little projects, which don't have an opportunity to order custom development. We are not searching for the blue ocean, we are trying to make usual things in a new way.

Try to use code.market when you need to do mobile app development.

Wish you the best with your market.

This is a bit confusing, as when I checked out one product on code.market it actually linked to a product on CodeCanyon? I am not sure if authors add items directly on the platform or it just aggregates products from different marketplaces.

@XCS hi dear Cristian. Yes exactly you are right.

While we lounched our project we made automatic system for importing mobile applications from codecanyon. We needed this like a start point in for start generating traffic from this niche.

Now we already have some buying traffic. And now we are working on a system that will give authors the rights to edit their products (on the codemarket), which we pars from the codecanyon. I will write about this system latly at indiehachers.

If you are author you will need only confirm that these are your products and you will automatically become an author (on code.market).

We also have our own system for adding products for authors. Our upload system fastly and more usful than codecaneoyn. 2 minutes and you alrasy start selling.

At the same time, we do not limit the exclusivity of authors and products in any way, sell wherever you want. It seems more humane to us.

    Your story is inspiring.

Alex, I think this is an great idea. The whole no market thing reminds me of Peter Thiel "Competition is for losers." if you're creating then it's unlikely you'll have any competition. Super inspiring. Going to follow you on here and twitter so I can stay up to date with progress. Keep up with the great work 💪👊

Cool! I'm a bit new to modern JS and React / React Native so maybe sometime I could need a template in order to see how things work and learn faster to implement in an actual project.

Hey @alexignatov I do need help. I have this already existing Expo + React Native app built 2 years ago that might have trouble with the Push Notifications system. I want to update the SDK and at the same time maybe rewrite the entire notifications system. Can you recommend apps on your store that could provide good examples for notifications? I want to understand as much as possible of the Push Notifications "universe" (app, react, expo, apple, google, credentials, backend communication, sending from backoffice, and so on).

This is awesome just wish you had nativescript templates

Thanks for the opinion. Frameworks is the most popular now, so we started from them. We will add a nativescript in the near future.
