Free Front End Coding Challenges
I find that a lot of beginner developers struggle to find the motivation to work on projects simply because they lack the design skills, I intend to provide high quality templates that will help them improve their skills
Who knew running a side project would be this wild of a rollercoaster! Codewell just crossed $150 MRR shortly after hitting $100, I also got my first churn.
I reached out and apparently they were just supporting Codewell for the first month, so technically not a 'churn', but still, stung a little!
Looking forward to testing the waters with more promotional activities to scale.
After a long time of development, Codewell has finally launched on ProductHunt!
In a nutshell, Codewell is a platform that helps you improve your HTML and CSS skills by practicing on real design templates.
The idea is to help beginners grow their skills by BUILDING projects which I feel isn't done as often as it should be(coming from a designer who learned how to code).
Any support would be massively appreciated!

1 step closer to launch — development for Codewell's now over!
Now I'm just working on creating templates (My goal is at least 16 high quality templates on release).
I've also released a 'teaser' challenge (not the same quality as production templates that you can view/download here
Super excited!
So much has happened during these past few days. We've found a payment gateway supported in our country, we're nearly done with the UI, and believe it or not, we've just bought the domain.
We've been so busy doing everything that we sort of forgot about it. It feels like this is just making this all the more official and I'M EXCITED.
Seeing a product I designed come to life has been a journey so far! A year ago if you asked me if I could bring this project to life, I wouldn't even begin to entertain the idea.
Now, landing page, Github login, and subscription page is done. There's still work to be done, but seeing an MVP come to life is an amazing feeling!
I can't really say whether that's a good number or not, but I feel good about it. Out of those 54 who opened the link, 35 downloaded the teaser template.
I'd LOVE to get your feedback on how to further engage with the community so that I don't lose traction. Do I sent out daily emails with updates regarding Codewell? Or do I just keep the newsletter for major updates?
Thank you!
I decided to start building in public for Codewell — and it's been going really well so far on Twitter. Over the last couple of days I've made meaningful connections, and have 14 new followers.
Hopefully i'll stick this out and continue engaging with the community!
Here's a little sneak to what I have planned for Codewell — so many exciting features that will allow for a community to grow.
What are you guys thoughts so far? Any concerns or questions?
Looking forward to hearing from you!
This is the first time I'm fully committing to a project and by committing I meant hiring a developer to help bring my idea to life.
Definitely an exciting moment and I hope it works out well. I've got nothing to lose and it's a project I'm super excited to work on.
