Changed the color palette and it's way better.

I have been using a beige for the secondary color from the start and I was not happy with it.

So I went to https://www.colourlovers.com/ to find a palette who could go with the main blue.

I found a great one and I'm using a yellow-gold now so I feel way better about the design.
