After a year in Beta, fixing bugs, adding features and polishing the UX/UI, I finally launched a stable release of Colofon.io.
I added the non-fiction template and the first subscription for the occasion.

I opened the Discord server for Colofon today.
I hope we will soon be able to do some live writing and exchange with the community about writing and more...
I still need to find the right channels to create to answers all needs.
Last night, I reached 102 users registered.
There is quiet a few that became regular/active users with projects ongoing split between novel and screenplay.
The conversion rate is good and it's flawless to create a new project.
But a lot of people actually stop when they have to start writing.
Writer's block?
I have been using a beige for the secondary color from the start and I was not happy with it.
So I went to https://www.colourlovers.com/ to find a palette who could go with the main blue.
I found a great one and I'm using a yellow-gold now so I feel way better about the design.
I deployed the screenplay formatting that I was working on for some time.
It's a huge milestone as it allows me to talk to a new audience.
As of today, Colofon manages Books and Screenplays.
The next step will be collaborative writing for all templates.
I added a chat for collaboration on multi-users projects.
It was part of the plan to add collaborative writing, the chat was the most simple step toward that.
It's a basic chat that allow users to communicate across a project (doesn't matter which page you're on)
I got a closer look at collaborative writing for Colofon and it actually seems easier than I thought.
As I plan to introduce screenwriting support soon, I know from users' feedback that collab writing is very important for screen writers.
The IT part is still a bit tricky as I work with SignalR and can't make it talk to WebRTC for some reason...
I just discovered that Colofon is on Beta Page.
I submitted the form couple of weeks ago and without notifications, I am now live!
I realised it when I saw visitors coming from the "new" section of Beta Page on Analytics.
I'm finally done with the translation of Colofon (app and website) in French.
I hope I could do more languages pretty soon but I don't know which ones should be a priority.
I thought Hindi and Bengali because there is a big community of writers fluent in those 2.
Probably Spanish too.
I had this feature waiting for a long time. Now it's done, when you write, the auto-save is connected to an indicator that will tell you if it's saved or not.
I also added a warning so, if you leave the page and the auto-save haven't finished his job , a dialog will appear.
