So yeah, as the title says the newsletter has 300 Subscribers. I know is not a huge number...but...
Taking into account that it started on 19 of December and I have barely done nothing to get them is pretty much a milestone for me.
They kept coming in maybe 5 or 6 daily more or less, then I posted <a href="https://dev.to/michaelandreuzza/i-have-put-together-a-file-with-color-and-typography-styles-for-web-developers-and-digital-designers-it-s-free-t-use-and-copy-30go">this</a> on DEVto. This figma file has been used by more 200 users.
This post brought in 127 subscribers and since then it has been growing. And the file I made it months before the newsletter and website.
Then, something that it actually helped to leak more subscribers was to read @harrydry 's <a href="https://marketingexamples.com/conversion/email-subscribers">article</a>...
Now there's a CTA in the navbar in every page, a subscribe box in every footer with the test:
" Join hundreds of designers and developers receiving color palettes by example twice a week. "
The buttons for the newsletter has a color gradient that resembles diamonds, and it feels good to click it.
There is also a landing page, explicit for the newsletter, where it explains everything about how it works.
I am also linking to Figma for those that don't use it. So there's no excuse :-) to not join.
While I have experienced less traffic than pasts weeks due to my just playing around with the UI and messing all up, subscribers grew.
I changed the UI to almost how it was, but now it looks much better, and it has got some more personality. I am getting there and this proved that I should not have touched the ui.
Thank you for reading and have a great one.
