Colors & Fonts - Analytics are open to anyone.

Hello everyone,

When I removed GA some months ago, I moved to NETLIFY analytics, because Colors & Fonts was hosted there.

But I wanted to be more transparent, so here we go.

I moved all my side-projects to PLAUSIBLE, because I can share the dashboard and make it public.

So go ahead and have a look to them.

Why am I doing this?

Well, first of all tt bothers me the idea of being tracked, and am I sure that there's more humans with the same thoughts.

I value privacy, and this kind of tools, like Colors & Fonts shouldn't even use analytics like GA. Is not needed if the apps are free...and made for the users.

Don't hesitate to comment or ask me anything regarding the project, just go ahead.

You can contact me on

And if you want to get a bunch of resources, tools and articles on your inbox every Tuesday.

I have a free newsletter for that. You can subscribe or simply read it on the browser because is on substack.

Thank you so much for reading and have a great day!

Was curious, wanted to check out your dashboard but the link seems broken: https://plausible.io/colorsandfonts.com

Wow - it's going super strong, congrats!

The site also looks great. I see you tweak it a lot, nice work.

it has been better, i used to have almost 1k users daily but I haven't done no marketing or nothing....

In fact I am tweaking it again https://new-colorsandfonts.netlify.app/

          with Tailwind nd Alpine.js

            1k daily visitors? That's insane!! =o

What's the drive behind tweaking it? Are you just having fun or are you trying to improve some metric?

I like both, couldn't tell which is a better direction. :)

yea, it has been featured in many places, including a Gary Simon video. That's why it has been so popular, I have also removed some tools because they weren't used though...

Just for the sake of doing it. Metrics are fine but Is mostly because I want to move away from Bulma and make it with Tailwind CSS...

I want to make it look like my other side projects

to have some consistency, you know? When they see it, they will know I made it.

I am trying to do this 4, but I may sell the newsletter so will see if I include it.

Yeah it totally makes sense to move Tailwind. :) And I also get the design consistency goal.

I didn't know tough that you are working on wickedtemplates. And it's already generating revenue - pretty cool, congrats!

Yeah, i launched around 4 months ago and it was 5th on ph but, I redesigned the whole concept, because despite it was 5th I barely sold nothing, so now it is what it is now...

Yeah, I am making some sales, not as wished but will definitely take care of that soon too.

                  How is Boomla going?

                  1. 1

Well, at least you released it early! Congrats on that. Unfortunately that's not how I work, lol. :)

Boomla is also growing slowly since I released the theme back in April. Not as fast as I expected from being both high quality and free. Lots of people doubt it. Maybe I should start charging a lot (for new sites). I'm still working in the design department just like you.

I'm just thinking you might find what I'm working on right now useful. Will show you in a week or so!

                    1. 2

I think Boomla has great potential Tibor, I just rushed because otherwise, I would simply forget about it and ditch it...

Yeah, sometimes putting it expensive is better, so they see the value.

I would love to see what you are working on, really impatient. You got my email so ping me!

                      Have a great day Tibor!
