We released our first side project

When we create a new landing page for Cruip, we find it very helpful to have a few references of inspiration to help us come up with the right idea for the design.

We've been collecting these inspirations since the launch of Cruip, and just recently, we decided to turn our private collection into a product available for everyone:

👉 SaaS Landing Page

SaaS Landing Page is a design inspiration gallery showcasing the best examples of SaaS landing pages (front pages, pricing pages, about us pages, testimonial pages, etc...). Currently, the product includes over 300 examples, and we plan to keep showcasing new amazing stuff on a daily basis!

Fellow founders, have a look around and please let us know if you've any feedback or suggestions - If you think it's worth it, you can also support us on Product Hunt today:

Thanks 🙌

    Interesting resource.

I built https://saaspages.xyz/ if anyone is looking for something similar but split by blocks instead of pages, users have found it very helpful.

    1. 3

Found your site very helpful when I was designing several sites. Thanks for the work Volkan!

    2. 1

Very interesting. I saw our company's page here https://saaspages.xyz/sites/plivo/. All the pages you have added have an old design, would it be possible to update?

        1. 2

We update it every so often. When we get the chance we will update it.

    3. 1

saaspages.xyz is really cool . I've been maintaining a big list of pages in ios notes.

How do you manage the and administer the data? do you have a mysql database at the back. Is it just you on the project?

      1. 2

We have large json files, wish we used something with a backend :)

Would make adding new sites much easier.

  2. 8

Volkan, then you guys... I guess it's my turn now! 😅

Just kidding. Thanks for the inspiration!

    1. 3

Product hunt seems to love the idea wait a few months and cash in :)

  3. 3

Looks amazing! Lot of great examples in there 👌

    1. 1

      Thank you, Andrea 🙌

  4. 2

I just wanted to say, love Cruip!

    1. 1

      Thank you, Arthur 🙌

  5. 2

Nice resource, thanks! Bookmarked for future reference 👍It would be interesting to know over time if you get some stats on if this drives traffic to Cruip - was that one of the motivations for creating the site?

    1. 1

Hey Jamie - basically two reasons:

      1. To attract potential leads (from SLP to Cruip)
      2. Our Notion lists were becoming overcrowded :)
    2. 1

We built https://saaspages.xyz/ for https://versoly.com/ and we get 100s of leads a month.

      1. 1

Brilliant, so it's certainly a worthwhile investment of time to create a side project that feeds into the main product? - thanks for sharing

        1. 3

100%, i should most likely invest more time into it.

  6. 1

Hey Davide, thanks for sharing. There are some nice high quality examples in this collection!

  7. 1

Was looking into your project yesterday, and it is great! A very good marketing move also toward bringing people on Cruip, very smart!

    1. 1

Thank you, Laurent! Hopefully, it will pay off :)

  8. 1

    So...

Treat me like a 6 year old! Are you guys saying that you basically created a "side project" that was used to drive traffic to your main project?

    Or am I missing something!

    thanks

    1. 1

Hi - I think I'm missing the point here! What do you mean?

      1. 1

in other posts, you (or others) said you get leads from the side project for your main project.

        is this correct?

if it is, are you saying that you actually get views/paying customers for the main site, from the side project?

        thanks

        1. 1

Hey tsmith, yes, that's correct, but projects are very close in terms of scope/audience:

          • Side project: A gallery of landing page examples/inspiration
          • Primary project: A marketplace of landing pages

@Davidep86 I love the design in Cruip, is it only for React developers? or bootsrap users can also enjoy the products?

    1. 1

Thank you :) It isn't for React developers only! All templates are also available in HTML and Vue.js!

  10. 1

    Love the page and design.

By the way "(S) by cruip", you should probably make by croip a link. I had a hard time figuring out what Cruip is and what it does.

  11. 1

I found landing.ant.design to be quite useful; they even have a code editor that will spit out a React.js template (not create-react-app but it does give you all the styling necessary). I'll use it for TinyDevCRM's landing page once the MVP is shipped.

  12. 1

It looks like the same idea as https://saaspages.xyz/ just less screenshot designs.

  13. 1

Loved Cruip. Really fluid and crisp designs.

Can't wait to use SaaS Landing Page. Keep up the good work!

  14. 1

Looks awesome! Do any of them use GatsbyJS?

    1. 2

Thank you, Yaro! Honestly, we don't know :)

      1. 2

@yaroslawbagriy many are using Gatsby - Wappalyzer chrome extension will help you find that info quickly.

    1. 1

Hey Jonny - It looks similar to the landing, but it's the pricing/premium page:

  15. 1

I just wanted to say that the site looks great, amazing side project. How do you find new landing pages worth showcasing if you don't mind me asking?

Just took a look at Cruip as well. The templates look awesome mate!

    1. 1

Thanks, Callum - We've been hand-picking them since the launch of our primary project (1.5 years ago), and they come from different sources - Example: Dribbble, Awwwards, etc...
