Where we share informational stuff on various social media platforms.
Since it was a start from 0, we did not have a lot of reach or followers to cater to. Still, the schedule was on.
Suddenly one of the reel went viral and got 5k views on Instagram in less than 4 hours, which got us to 150 downloads
A user from the US Reached out to us, saying "You guys have no idea what a special tool you've built for retail investors like me, I will no doubt want to subscribe to your paid plan."
Having someone from the US reach out to us and also upgrading to the topmost tier for a yearly plan was surreal.
We were not conducting any form of marketing.
All of the downloads are from searches on play store and from referrals from the users who have downloaded the app.
This is an immense validation of the idea, where now we will be incorporating paid and pro-bono partnerships to boost our users.
After 3 months of struggling with In-app purchases. 20 rejections from the app store and multiple agencies churn, we were finally able to submit a complete and full-proof build on the app store which they approved.
Personal Opinion - app store is really complicated for in-app purchases.
Anyways, now it's live.
Now on to scaling it ahead
Our first customer paid for the whole year at a 10% discount and one of the huge validations of building a SAAS service.
The customer said - I spend 1-2 hours daily on the app to go through the signals and take better investment decisions. This was something he wanted since a long time and was waiting for it
After eight+ months working on the stock market algorithms, and testing on 10000+ companies on 20+ years of data.
We were ready with a solid strategy that would work in any of the stock markets.
