Hire better talent, faster
Drafted's goal is to leverage AI to hire the best possible candidates.
Last week, I started working on different things to try and bring the first users to the product.
The first thing I did was to record a demo video about the product, that shows on a very high level how it looks and how it feels to work with it.
The first thing I did was to tell some friends and old colleagues about Drafted. I already had a few people in mind that I thought would be interested in the product, mostly because of them being involved in HR and recruitment, so I went and talked with them in person or through LinkedIn or Twitter.
Another thing I did was to submit the product to a bunch of online places: Betalist, Hacker News, here too...
Last, I've been engaging with some people on Twitter.
All this effort has brought around 300 unique visitors to the website, and a handful of trials. But more importantly, I've received some amazing, super helpful feedback about the product that I will surely use to make it better (working on it already!)
It has been incredibly motivating to see people willing to help, to support, to give feedback... People are amazing!
After working on the side for a bit less than a month, and with a very much needed 10-days vacation on the unique island of Lanzarote, today I consider the MVP finished.
The product is quite rough on the edges at the moment, but I feel it does what it needs to do and reflects quite well the potential value that it can bring to its users.
The next steps are to get some feedback on the product itself, to start with the sales activities, and hopefully to get the very first user(s) onboarded.
