Web extension to find the product you want cheaper in 1 clic
Frustrated with the idea of always getting caught by websites doing dropshipping when item would be available cheaper on aliexpress
Unfortunately, despite the great fun I had creating this product. Not enough people have become aware of it and I would now have to invest some time to update it as Aliexpress affiliate system changes.
I thus decide to discontinue it after having made 10$ and without being able to get them out the platform as it's below the threshold :-)

Since the launch of the website and despite the small number of users, already more than 200 sites has been detected.
What I find cool about this web extension is that it's an "install and forget" thing

Some new products have been identified thanks to my extension, and they have not been identified by me :-)

Nice addition I could'nt find a way to do for woocommerce website because of the lack of structures of its pages.
So now, If I find that a website is a shopify store (with shopify classes in the dom) and that the URL matches the URL of a product, I automatically retrieve the of:image and pass it into my detector to warn the user if the product is cheaper on aliexpress without any interaction.
This comes really handy with all the sites that are doing dropshipping nowadays!

Wow, what a hard ride to get this working but finally did it
With the new 1.1.0 version being validated right now, the extension will automatically check if the same product is available on aliexpress cheaper.
And that happens quite a lot on kitchen gadgets like this one for example at 15,99€
Just install and let the extension do the rest :-)

As we were talking about websites and extension around a drink with an SEO master friend of mind, it came to light that a lot of people got caught buying stuff that were coming from dropshipping.
As we are aware of this, this could not happen to us (or could it :-)?)
