Keep track of your family's travel adventures
I help families track and share their travel experiences. Kids can learn about important historical sites and people, collect stamps, stickers and badges, and track the cities, U.S. states, and countries they visit.
Birmingham, UK and Toledo, Spain have been added to the Duckwyn Travel Passport. These 2 cities have stickers and new quests for your family to enjoy while you visit.
We've also added the option for families to add their own quests to each city. If you're heading to a new city soon, come up with some fun adventures for your family to accomplish during your visit. These new family quests will be accessible to each family member when they login.
I've added 2 new national parks this month. Tayrona National Park in Colombia and Los Glaciares National Park in Argentina are now included in the Duckwyn Family Travel Passport. We're now well over 300 points of interests and we continue to add new places each month.
Starting today, we are rolling out a new feature that will allow you to keep track of the airports you visit. 30 new airports are available, each with their own collectible sticker. Many more airports will be added soon.
You check-in from an airport the same way you would any Duckwyn Destination, by clicking the check-in icon. Once you arrive at the airport, the icon will appear, allowing you to collect your new sticker. Each airport card will keep track of your visitor log so you can see how many times you've been there and on which days. It's a new fun way to keep track of your travel life. As a bonus, each new airport check-in will add 10 points to your travel experience point total.
The second draft of the Duckwyn Travel Cards has arrived. I'm busy making some tweaks as we get ready to launch these soon.
Each card has its own sticker. These are placed on the back when you visit each destinations. We're busy working on the first 18 card set with many more to follow.
We spent a large part of 2021 adding more destinations to the Duckwyn Travel Passport. We want to make it easy and fun for you and your family to learn about the countries, cities, and historical sites that you visit.
There's no shortage of places to add. We've now completed our Top 100 Cities list with stickers to collect from each. In addition to this we've also added the following:
106 New Destinations including:
29 New Cities
35 New Lighthouses
During the year we've continued to improve the passport application. New desktop and mobile versions of the app allow you to track your bucket list and share your memories of your past vacations.
As we move into 2022, we continue to push to build the best family travel application in the world that takes you from your travel dreams through to the wonderful memories that last a life time.
We've been busy over the past 2 months adding more stamps and stickers to the Duckwyn Travel Passport for you to collect.

I've created a new tool for travel bloggers to link to from their social profiles. The new TravelB.io profile gives you a place to link all your social channels together while also displaying your travel stats (countries, cities, and states that you've visited). You can also display up to 5 custom links, your travel bucket list, and posts from your travel journal. It's available for free starting today.
Despite the lack of travel, or maybe because of it, 2020 was a busy and productive year. We added over 100 new collectible stamps, stickers, and badges. This includes new city stickers, national park badges, and summit medals. We now have destinations on every continent except Antartica. Here's a recap of what was added:
-32 new destinations
-45 new cities
-12 mountains to explore
-11 national parks
-4 new historical people
In addition to new collectibles, several new features were added including:
-City and castle challenge badges
-New City Tour pages for Milan, Florence, Pisa, and Washington DC
-New maps based on the 3d mapping provided by Mapbox
-Image upload optimization to speed up journal entries
-Optimized screens for desktop and tablet screens
-Redesigned overview, journal, and passport pages
We've also been working on a couple of new features that will be available in early 2021. We're adding a way for you to share your travel stories through interactive maps and photos. These will integrate into your passport so you can review where you've been each year. A new Wander List will help you share and learn about the places and things that your friends and family want to do on their upcoming travels.
Hopefully later this year we'll be able to travel again. We're anxious to get back to our own Wander Lists but for now, we'll be focusing on staying safe, enjoying close family time, and dreaming about our adventures to come.
Take care and stay safe!
I've been working on designs for new national park badges. You can collect these by going to one of the 62 parks. It will take some time to get all 62 added. As of this week, both Yosemite and the Grand Canyon are now available. I'm working on adding Acadia and the Great Smokey Mountains in the next few days. These badges can be collected by stamping your Duckwyn Travel Passport at these locations and then answering 3 trivia questions about the park.
