Just-one-more-feature: Web Clipper

Why market 🤔...when we can build more features?

We just released a chrome plugin to complement our knowledge tree app. No one asked for it. But we think it's an important part of the product. Faster bookmarking. Awesome!

In afterthought, I think we are caught in that "just-one-more-feature" trap. Damn. With all those warnings. How did we get there? How can we escape? 🤦‍♂️

We are probably afraid to start marketing. Building new stuff is fun. Marketing is new, big, and scary.

Our backlog of ideas is huge. But we have to convince ourselves that we don't need more features. Because the reality is:

✅ We have people paying for our product. (So the product is fine)
✅ Home page visitors are converting. (Landing page is fine)
❌ But we have very few home page visitors.

Now we need to start marketing. Currently, we are looking into Facebook ads. Let's see how that goes.

How are you growing beyond your first customers? 🤔

How is the marketing part working out so far? I stumbled upon this by reading a Reddit post you wrote where you recommended the app and found it interesting :)
Also, is the 15$/mo revenue still up to date?

      Hi Ciriousjoker!

Cool you found our app interesting. I just checked out your app as well. Unique concept! It looks like you are a knowledge management nerd, as well. 🤓🙌🏻

We haven't done too much marketing yet. We had some Facebook ads that gave decent results. And Reddit has given us some traffic.

Believe it or not, but we have one last feature we want to finish. Then, we will go into marketing mode. 😅👍

How are you marketing your app? I'm down for a video call if you want to talk about knowledge management. Perhaps we can learn from each other.

I'm trying Reddit ads atm. Let's see how that goes 🤞

As for the call, sure, I'd love to :)
EDIT: You'll have to message me via my profile email though. I can't message you via Twitter or email.

          Cool,

          I don't know what a profile email is... 😅

You can message me at [email protected]

Profile email = the email that you added to your profile on IH (which is shown as a button next to your profile pic).

Anyway, I sent you an email :)

Ah, now I added an email address to my profile. Thanks for the tip.
