Got our first paying customers!

On September 17th we held the 9th meetup of Enter Network. Since our first meetup in December, we had been growing quite fast, averaging 30-50 entrepreneurs attending each time.

However, one of our issues was that of the people who signed up only 30%-40% attended. So we once had 100 people registering and around 35 attend.

To counter this, and to recoup some of the investments (drinks, venue, meetup costs) we had done so far, we asked for a €5 contribution from every attendee.

It was an experiment, and I wasn't sure whether it would work. But it did! We still had 30 people attending, and instead of 100 registered attendees, there were now just 40. A much better ratio!
