Avoid accidental subscription renewals, track expenses
Tracking all your contracts and subscriptions is difficult, even more so when you're running a business. Everlint lets you track them and will remind you about upcoming renewals. Furthermore it lets you track expenses.
Last week was an important step in acquiring more user feedback: I launched on Dealify with two lifetime deals: https://www.dealify.com/everlint/ . The point of this is to get users that are more actively using the tool and generate feedback and possibly bug reports. So far this has really helped, I'm ready to deploy two new features that were suggested and fixed a number of bugs.
Everlint has been extended with support for trial and lifetime deal tracking. I found this a nice complement to the existing subscription tracking. When a trial expires and it hasn't been deleted it, it will be automatically converted to a normal recurring subscription.
Give it a try at https://everlint.com
I just finished adding refund period reminders for all lifetime deals that you add to Everlint. This can save you quite some money if you forget to apply for a refund for lifetime deals you don't use!

After much deliberation I replaced the lifetime deal with a more limited forever free plan. The lifetime deal was nice to generate some revenue, but it seems these users were not that engaged with the product. Let's hope free users do contact me for feedback and bug reports, to make the product more valuable.
From the beginning I've made all parts of Everlint support multi-currency, but there was only support for three currencies. Up until now! Everlint now supports 34 currencies in which you can add subscriptions and expenses. Real time currency conversion happens and all charts and tables will show your preferred currency based on it.
I've come to realize that I want a way to track history of the subscriptions as well. In order to do that, I added expenses. This got me thinking, why wouldn't I add a nice form for manual expenses as well? This might lead me to pivot the product more toward personal finance, but maybe that's a better fit?
I added a limited lifetime access deal to the site. I know about all the possible problems and negatives such a sale can cause, but I still think it would be good for me to have more users and more feedback. They can provide me with bug reports and feature requests, which will make the platform better and more valuable for normal subscribers as well.
A product is never finished, so I soft launched the MVP at https://everlint.com and let some initial customers create their account. Some important features are still missing, especially for businesses (permissions per category for example), but smaller businesses and private persons should enjoy it already!
Currently in the process of scheduling customer interviews. A few people have expressed interest and I'm going to interview them about the problem they want to solve. I've given the ones that seem to match with my MVP a link to it already, let's see if the like it.
Frustrated about an accidental renewal for a subscription I wasn't using anymore I came up with the idea to build Everlint. This is not only useful for consumers, but can also really benefit businesses. Let's build an MVP and see how helpful it is for me.
