Now the site is popular in the guitar learning niche. I can say that is the to-go resource for those who want to master the guitar fretboard. It ranks very well for keywords related to "guitar fretboard trainer", "guitar learning software" and so forth. Revenue is nice.

    Great job!.
How did you run your SEO and promotion strategy? and how long does it take to reach this number?

Hi, thanks. SEO (at least white SEO), is a slow process. I did the standard way: keywords research (Semrush), creating great content (>2500 words and interactive tools), forum scanning to identify common and unsolved problems in this niche, and so forth. The good thing here is that I really love this niche (guitar playing) so I love to create new content. This niche is really crowded and competitive, so it's necessary to be creative to stand out from the crowd. Now I get about 1500 organic visitors/day from Google, it required I think 2 years of content production (about 1 article x month)

Congrats! I hope I can create a similar success story with my niche too. I should work on the content more.

SEO is not the only way. You can go faster with PPC (Google Ads for direct query and Facebook Ads for brand awareness and latent intent), but you should do your math: if the cost of PPC is less than your revenue, you have a positive ROI and you can scale up the whole thing. Of course, you must have all set, a proper landing page, great (and compliant) ads, maybe some AB test in place. PPC can really bring to you 10.000 users in a week, but you must have a plan on how to monetize them. SEO is all about content and backlinks, read relationship with other entrepreneurs, website and so forth. The good thing is that you can do PPC and SEO, if your budget/time allow this, and go faster. What's your niche? Maybe i could give more specific suggestion if I have this info. Ciao!

Survival Gear is my niche, and my site is survivalgearbook.com

What is the business model? How do you monetize the site?

              1. 1

Ads, Affiliates and E-Books but for the first steps I need to create healthy backlinks and traffic for that.

I know nothing about guitars, but I love how you were able to identify your niche so narrowly. What is the service or platform you are providing to this niched audience?

The thing that differentiates my site from the immense amount of guitar websites out there is the fact that I provide interactive tools (created with HTML5+javascript) that help learn chords, scales and fretboard better. Plus I try to give a new and original point of view for each topic I talk about.
