I removed the superfluous stuff and simplified the copy so it speaks more about the "Why" instead of "What".

Design is not my strong suit so I've used https://coolors.co to choose a pallet of colors I liked. Highly recommend it!

The page looks presentable now. I'm not ashamed of showing it anymore :D

I've just finished adding The Hustle newsletter (https://thehustle.co/).

Since Fama now supports 2 different newsletters, I had to create different thumbnails that will be shown in the podcasts app for each newsletter.

"Free" online apps for creating logos and thumbnails were crap so I decided to use Google Slides. Yes, Google Slides.

I've created a graphic I wanted in Google Slides, then I took a screenshot of it and that is what I use. It took me 5 minutes and I'm supper happy with the results.

Life got in the way and a few months have gone by. The idea percolated in my mind all the time.

Finally, I got around to doing it. I first started building Fama to support all the newsletters. But, after talking to @manuel_frigerio I decided to narrow it down to a single newsletter and start from there.

I decided on the one that I read every day, Morning Brew. Last weekend I finished building it.

I'm using Ruby on Rails for the backend and I used carrd.com to hack together a landing page.

I was going through my email inbox full of email newsletters and archiving most of them because I didn't have the time to read them.

I thought to myself "If only I could listen to these as I listen to my podcasts..." and the light bulb turned on. I shall build it!
