So I got into a conversation on LinkedIn - somebody reached out to me through my network for a discussion, and I we ended up talking about my product's use cases for their business. I'm rapidly iterating from MVP stage from a small toy, to larger-scale data processing.
I've now been able to refine my model of what a successful version of Feedsub will look like. I was initially building a feed-reader in the mailbox, but I've realised there's a real opportunity to build more a generic tool for generating, reading and taking actions on machine driven data, while also staying true to the product I'm currently building.
My new vision is two fold:
I previously mentioned a use case as getting filterable job results delivered to your inbox in one clean digest. In theory, this will unlock new use cases such as lead generation, brand monitoring, content discovery and more general trend analysis. (If you're interested in these things reach out to me at [email protected] - not looking for sales, but a chat, with lovely IndieHackers!)
This is definitely a huge leap, and I've only got a small slice of my vision out there, but it's one to work towards.
