Hey Everyone,
We have just launched on product hunt: Link.
$700,000 annual revenue. We achieved it. It wasn't overnight. Rather, it has been a slow burn for us.
No buzz words, no nonsense. Just plain focus on doing the basics right:
Ensuring that we keep improving our screening and the quality of talent on our platform
Growing the traffic on our website through SEO
Automating all internal processes using no-code
Building side projects that bring us good traffic
Improving the way we communicate/sell our value to our customers.
So yes - just keep hitting the basics. Do it every day, every month and for years. It will get you where you want to be! Consistency is the name of the game π !
If you want to know more about Flexiple, I have included details below :). Please support us on Product Hunt π

And the story and future of scaleπ
I've found custom illustrations to be super costly. Moreover, quality visual designers are tough to find! Now, you can do all of that for free π
###a. Gender options
We already have a good mix of male and female characters in our collection. But for single-character illustrations, we will also be introducing a gender option. π πββοΈ
###b. Skin tone options
Beyond diversity in gender, we currently also have characters across different skin tones. We plan to add a colour picker so that you can change the look of the characters for your illustration! ππ» ππΌ ππ½ ππΎ ππΏ
###c. Illustration packs
Next step we plan to release illustration packs for specific industries. We have started with the recruitment industry. We plan to next move to the remote working space. π¨βπ»

Hey Everyone,
Just launched my personal newsletter on Product Hunt. Please do come and say hi :)
Here is the PH Link.
I started my career about 8 years back as an Investment Banker at J.P. Morgan. I worked there for 3 years but that life wasn't for me :/
Ever since, I have been trying my hand at entrepreneurship over the past 4-5 years and feel that I have finally found my calling. I enjoy "going to work" and that continues to bewilder my friends :P
As entrepreneurs, we have about 95% failures and 5% successes (at least in my experience). While we hear about the successes, we often don't hear about the things that went wrong.
Even if we do, they are about the Musks and Jobs of the world. I yearn for real stories I can learn tangible things from. So, about 3 months back, I decided to give it a try myself by sharing the lessons I've learnt as an entrepreneur.
A typical story I share, would include:
I don't give advice but share my stories - each person can then adapt it to their contexts. Advice is rigid, boring and doesn't lend itself across scenarios - hence, un-useful.
To finish my clearly excited monologue, here are a few examples of my past stories/newsletters:
With that, I will be eagerly waiting to answer any questions/comments that you folks have. Vamos!
Hey guys,
I shared our first all-remote dance (if you missed it, it is here ) last week along with the offer we had for startups.
Basically, the offer constitutes us waiving off our commission and also requesting our developers & designers to work at a lower hourly rate. We have managed to reduce our prices by 30%.
So we decided that while we don't make money, we might at least let startups & the great talent on our network benefit from it. That's why we launched on Producthunt. Do throw us an upvote to get it out to as many people as possible :). PH Link: https://www.producthunt.com/posts/flexiple-for-covid-19-2
So guys, we hit a new milestone! No, not a financial one. We did our first all-office virtual dance and tried to recreate the legendary "The Office Wedding Dance". We had a blast π!
Just click below to watch the video:
These are pretty difficult moments that we are going through. And we will surely get through them together. So, we decided that having some fun while we are it is the best way to be π
Also, to help startups & businesses through COVID-19, we have launched significant discounts by waiving off our entire commission and also by requesting our developers & designers to reduce their prices. Let's not allow COVID to define the growth of our companies!
We took a challenging task upon ourselves - to write the most comprehensive guide to hire freelance developers ever written.
Now, after over 8 weeks of effort, we launched on Product Hunt!
In the report, we have poured in all our knowledge of having worked with over 150+ companies over the past 4 years. It has amounted to over 11000 words in totality.
To help you with more context, the chapters that we are covering include:
Would love if you could spread the word by upvoting us on Product Hunt if you have a moment.
We are trending!
So while our team works from home, we are actively indulging in building some cool, creative side-projects which otherwise don't get prioritised. One such amazing initiative we are working on is 'Founders Origin Stories'.
Here's what it comprises -
Would love to hear your thoughts!
P.S: We are live on Product Hunt today!
We understand how difficult it is for startups to hire top tech talent and hence started working on Flexiple to solve it.
Over the past three years or so, we have screened 16,000+ developers!
Sure, we believe that our developers are amongst the very best. However, we also had over 200 developers who came super close to clearing our curation process.
These developers have great tech skills and are surely a good fit for firms that aren't currently considering Flexiple's core offering.
We have open-sourced this list at Flexiple OpenSource π.
We plan to keep updating this database. If you guys have any feedback for us, feel free to fill this form. Would love to hear your thoughts π
P.S: We are also live on Product Hunt today and trending π(you can find us on the homepage) Do give us a shoutout if you like our efforts!
When I began working on Flexiple 3 years ago, the one and only success metric that people used to judge startups with was the funds raised by them! I was no different.
But my thought-process (thankfully) has evolved over this period of building Flexiple and Remote Tools in a sustainable manner.
And I have realised that building such a startup needs the support of communities like the ones built by @channingallen, @csallen, and @patwalls.
The enthusiasm Pat showed when I reached out to have Flexiple featured on his platform was infectious.
That led me to write a story with the aim of sharing my learnings of building Flexiple and to share the new way of building a sustainable business I had learned about with his readers.
Though, there's definitely a long road ahead of us full of unseen challenges (as Pat's post on Reddit showed) but hereβs a detailed version of the why, how and when of Flexiple.
Would love to hear your thoughts on the story and always happy to answer any questions you may have :slightly_smiling_face:
Yes! We have finally launched Flexiple on ProductHunt π

Our Story
We started working on Flexiple early, while in College itself, in the hope that it would allow us to become self sustained faster. But the initial months were super tough, to be honest.
Six months after graduation, we were still figuring out the product-market fit and putting cash into business to support product development and employee salaries. We had almost burnt all of our savings and were unsure if the decision to stay bootstrapped was indeed correct.
Looking back now, though, it is so satisfying to realise that the wait was all worth it. We may not have exercised the same autonomy in decision making and execution had we involved external stakeholders. Thankfully, we now have enough cash pile in the bank to sustain us comfortably for at least the next couple of years.
Flexiple is currently in an exciting phase of growth where we are focusing a lot on laying foundations for the long term. We would love your support on PH if you connect with your story and like our product!
