As we were building the product and improving as we went, some of the nice-to-haves like a knowledge base for our users just didn't get created.

When we realized this was a need we buckled down and cranked out enough articles to make it look respectable.

All of our sales up to this point had come from our JV partner, so the customers were warm and familiar with our offering. The JV partner also was doing all the setup. In March, we got our first 'off the web' client, who had heard about us from ... ?

We realized we didn't have an onboarding process... at all... and spent some sleepless nights making sure this was put in place. Whoops.

Hello World

It's alive! And wow, it' s ugly. I had started putting together a basic prototype to show to our initial JV partner halfway through December, but it was time to show them what I had produced. It worked (mostly) and we got the valuable feedback that we needed to hit the ground running. We also got our first payment from our partner around this time... things got real.
