Fontsnatcher exists to answer the question that a lot of designers and typographers have, "What font is that?"
After an entire month of iterations and trying to get customers, I was finally able to sell Fontsnatcher on Sideprojectors!
At the end of December, I realized that I might not be able to get any paying users for the extension. I was also about to go off to continue university and wanted to have some extra cash on me, so I ultimately decided to sell Fontsnatcher online.
Long story short, after an entire month of listing on different sites, heartbreaks and headaches, I was finally able to sell Fontsnatcher a few days ago just as January was ending.
I plan on making a post to outline my experience and the lessons I've learnt, stay tuned...
So the extension finally got approved by Google and it's now on the Google Chrome Webstore(unlisted that is). With this, I decided to launch the first version of Fontsnatcher to the world! I'm gonna be sending it out to people on the waitlist and social media to see what people think, all whiles still developing it and updating some stuff in the background.
Hopefully, I can also make some sales from this, wish me, luck guys!
Just finished building out the first version of Fontsnatcher and I've sent it to the Chrome Web Developers dashboard for review. It'll take a couple of days for them to get back to me but until then you're free to check out the website:

The landing page for Fontsnatcher is ready and deployed to Vercel.
Now I need to send it out and get some feedback and validation.
I was able to design and develop it all within about two days and I haven't bought a domain name yet cause I'd like to validate it first... wouldn't want to be spending money for no reason 馃槄
Anytime when browsing the web, I'd visit webpages and product landing pages and realized that a lot of them used these beautiful/unique fonts and typefaces.
And I always wondered, "Whats the name of this font?", "Where'd they find it?", "How would I be able to 'snatch' this font and use it in my next design or project?"
From there the idea of Fontsnatcher was born.
