Since the original idea our product has changed quite a bit. We’ve also realised that the print-on-demand nature of the product is less of a feature and more an implementation detail. The fact that the t-shirts are drop-shipped doesn’t offer any direct value to the customer. That’s why we moved away from the name ‘Hacker Print’. We chose the new name as it focuses on one of the core features of the product - forking - where users can create a copy of a design and make changes to fully customise it. We think ‘Forked’ is catchy and straight to the point. We bought forkedmerch.com and began working under the new name.
