Recently we added a menu to responses that let you share the response via Slack, copy the comment or delete the response.
We've now also added a new design that includes the user's device information. This is useful for debugging if issues show up.

It's been a while since I've posted an update here. Freddy is still in full swing and we're talking to multiple customers to define the next set of features that we're going to launch. There are a few other projects going on at the same time so the pace has been a bit slower, but things are going well.
Also getting ready for a nice Black Friday discount! Follow us to make sure you don't miss it.
When we launched there was a project plan available. The idea was to provide an alternative to the 'subscription fatigue' where you would pay once and then get access for a limited time.
It turns out that not many people are interested in such a plan.
We still want to support solo founders and early stage startups, so we now customise our plans for those that can't afford the Pro plan.

Starting from today customers can see a preview of their survey. It's great for checking what a survey looks like after you've created it, but it's also useful for existing surveys.
The preview mode works end-to-end for testing surveys. Responses are stored and even webhook data is sent.

Customers can now pick a custom emoji for all the emoji surveys. This is a much requested feature and will enable customers to tailor the visual style that the emojis convey.
The emoji survey is an incredibly clean, simple and powerful way to collect feedback, it's still the most used survey type to date!
Check it out on www.freddyfeedback.com.
Starting this Monday, customers will get their first survey summary emails.
This email will be a weekly update showing new responses and new comments, as well as the 10 latest comments so you can directly see customer feedback in the weekly email.
More stats will be added over time based on feedback (what else!).
Custom fields will show up in the dashboard with the other response data.
Through custom fields the responses become a lot more relevant to our customers, because you can show relevant data like a user ID or email address.
Custom fields are included in webhook data so you can build powerful automation on top of it.

Since we've launched the trial was always 7 days. Now that we have some learnings it's increased to 14 days. The primary reason is that it will give potential customers much more time to get responses and therefore experience the value that Freddy brings.
Although Freddy has been and always will be very focussed in terms of the product, I do scope and build new features. I've been talking to many customers and there is more coming, but here are a few things that have been added since our last update:
You can now follow response URL and visit the page where the user left feedback
Webhooks: when a response comes in you can connect it to your app to implement feedback directly into your backend/business logic
Local testing mode: easily test a widget on a local domain / setup
Filter on multiple scores in the dashboard
Save your often used keywords as filters per survey
Both the widget and the dashboard got a few good performance updates
Much more advanced URL filtering. See the feature in action here: https://twitter.com/FreddyFeedback/status/1298253723123081217?s=20
See response dates in your local timezone
Edit your question after you've created a survey
Much more documentation articles on installation, building great surveys and developer options
Oh and many more customers onboarded!
Looking back that's actually quite good for 15 days since our last update! 😅
Based on some feedback from the community, as well as some early customers, it's now possible to try Freddy for free.
This was already possible, but previously it required a credit card op front. We've removed this step and added in email verification.
If you want to give Freddy's widget a try, you can do so completely free now!
