Ad group 2)'s cost per conversion is ~$10, Ad group 1)'s cost per conversion is ~$25 (Conversion is defined as reaching the checkout stage)

4 ad groups: 1) Lookalike on course site visitors, 2) Lookalike on free course subscribers, 3) People who've watched 75% of my ad video, 4) People who've visited the site in the last 30 days, 5) LAL on actual course purchases

Ad group 2) performs the best

Campaign has been running for 2 weeks

Around 10% of visitors reach the checkout page, around 1% convert. ~70% of sales have come from Google and 30% have come through FB.

ROI is currently ~$0.90 for every $1 spent

In January, I started giving free IP advice in various forums like Reddit, Indiehackers, and some other communities. I also started marketing with Google Ads (~$36/day) and FB Ads (~$7/day).

The first customers came from Google Ads. I am still not profitable because it cost ~$500 in ads money and generated ~$400 in revenue, but I'm going to spend time talking to the customers to learn why they paid for my course.

After many hours of work, I've finally finished the course. I've included over 60 videos that explain the ins and outs of writing a software patent with no experience.
